iv got a North Rhino 05 12m, with north lines and bar, which includes a 5th line. the other day when i parked my kite directly above the dam thing kept falling directly out of the sky!! it was also having problems launching..(and yes there was enough wind!)
im relativly new to the 5th line set up, and im the only person in town who kites so i havent got anyone to ask for advice
im guessing its got something to do with the 5th lines length maybe??
any help would be appreciated

When my friend got his Rhino 05 he noticed that after awhile, the main 4 lines stretched some but the 5th line did not as it is seldome under tension. When the others stretched, it effectivly made the 5th line shorter so it was causing the kite to depower. He resolved this by adding a small pigtail to the connection points for the Fifth Element fifth line to increase their oveall length. Or you could just shorten the connection points for the other 4 lines.
The Fifth line should have some sag when flying, not be under tension.
Also note that the fifthElement bar has the problem of the fifth line getting twisted when doing spins and not untwisting when you spin the bar back. After a weeks worth of riding, the line needed to be un twisted as like a yoyo string, it was a bit shorter do to the number of twists in it.
