One more line up there is always gunna be slightly more hassle...But for the SAFETY and Ease factor when dumping the kite (by accident or necessity) and relaunching it, is more than worth it...The kite flies no differently and an added advantage is the additional depower potential you have,depending how your system is set up..
Gee Laurie maybe you might get another one liner (responce that is..."pun")from Flake...Hey he probably kites real good and swims faster and stronger than Thorpie...He doesn't need this new 5 line stuff...
The feedback from the various retailers around Australia who stock Sandgroper kites is that advantages of the 5th line do not out weigh the disadvantages of having an extra line to deal with. This feedback includes from professional kite surfers. However a couple of retailers think that it is the way to go... We are not going to include on the Sandgroper kites... at least for now!
.. I was just thinking if it's a pain in the ass, that maybe he's got it setup wrong!
