Hi all,

I'll be in Kiama this weekend and am planning to try 7 Mile beach at Gerroa on Sundays southerly.

Do many people kite there? Anyon else keen?

Cheers

p.s Aplogies for the double post, I posted this in the Hook Up section but I don't think many people venture into those threads

I'm not down this weekend, but get down pretty regularly and seven mile is one of my favourite spots to kite.

feel free to reach out next time you are heading down that way....

Cheers mate, will do.

Chances are I'll be down that way on the semi-regular as my folks have moved to Kiama.

Yeah I've kited there in SE before- S and SW are best because the Geroa end faces so south that a SE is so onshore that it's hard to get out through the waves especially if underpowered.
Other than that it's great, there is plenty of space. If it goes SE maybe just move down the beach more to make it more cross onshore

Sweet, thanks

Yeah it looked good on Sunday morning, but wind was to light so I didn't go out. Keen as for next time I'm down there!
