If the level of 2 unskilled kiters was equal but there body weight varied by 35kg, what size kite is required to get the two of them going equally powered up in 15 knots. If the 95kg kiter was using a 12m what would the 60 kg need. I guess the question relates to the drag potential of kites.

i've generally found the rule of thumb to be about 1m/10kg's

So if a 95kg rider was power on a 12m, a 60kg rider could be powered on an 8.5m/9m.

I'm sure it would be impacted on by ram air/c kite, but I think the basic principle would be the same maybe slight measurement changes.

I can old my 9m LF Session and I'm 60kgs, when the guys are on their 9m BEST Waroos...

Its not just about body weight... its board size, kite and skill dependent...

IMHO... You could usually say I am on a 9m when the guys are on their 12m; but I can hold a 9m when they are on it too.

if 2 trains are traveling from 2 different locations 50km apart, one is traveling at 100kph and the other at 35kph..... aah screw it.

There was no smoke, they were electric trains.

uhoh, Lemo's gone all impersonal and has changed his avatar... me thinks his timid advances at Lizzy have gone unnoticed. Will this be yet another story of unrequited love?

Stay tuned Breezers, for the next enthrawling episode of "Days of Our Kites".

The scary bit is, if you type the title on your phone, it uses the same keys as the TV show!

Does this mean that every windless, sick, day at home in front of the screen we'll be subjected to same-ol-same-ol daytime viewing that we have for the past 30-odd yeaars... whether it be the tube or the net we're a viewing?

It's too much for this koala to bear!
