Just a quick thank you to the guy who dragged my kite in at Safety Bay on Saturday arvo. I was out by the island, turned to head back to the beach and the rope on the chicken loop broke. The kite took off and made its way back to shore with the aid of the good Samaritan who picked it up in the water and dragged it back to shore. Also thanks to the guy who came out and asked if I was ok. Needless to say I had a leisurely swim back to shore. But I think we all had a great day out there anyway. It’s my favourite spot.
Lessons learned: 1. Put the safety leash on. 2. Safety in numbers.
