Im just beginning and i recently bought a board of seabreeze. I requested and accidently the seller sent the 131cm not the 134cm i was after. I am wondering do i spend 25 dollars and send it back and get him to send the 134cm or keep the 131 which may be better for me as i progress? I will be kiting at St Kilda
Any advice would be appreciated
Cheers
Scotty

How much do you weigh?
Anything less than 70ish I'd stick with the 131. 3cm won't make much difference in your learning I wouldn't think. And it will be easier later on.

As DP said depends on your weight, but also check the difference in widths.

Thanks

Get the board that you mentally, feel the most happy with. If the seller screwed up then he should pay the postage, or at least give you a credit note for it if it was a shop.

As others said, its better to stick with 131. It doesn't make much difference. Compared to windsurfing and surfing, kiteboarding is a relatively easy sport to learn. Ride carefully and check your security system before each session....

Im 14 and 63 kilos i learnt on a cardboard 132 two years ago and i found that it was an excellent size board to start on. Now i ride a 126 cardboard i just find the smaller board much quicker and a lot easier to turn and pop on. i think the 131 will be fine and it will alow you to progress faster once your start trying jumps.
