I saw there were some videos of a hydrofoil windsurfer on youtube. you could check that out and compare foils / design. the guy did quite well. was at hawaii by the look of the footage

I thought about putting 2 foils on my board.
linking the 2 fins in the front with an horizontal blade 5 cm below the board, same for the rear fins.
there is no rear on front on a TT but its to explain.
if you make 2 symmetrical blades you should be able to keep the ability to go both way
you keep the flex of the board to keep the ability to load the board for jumping and slowing down.

because the blade is screwed to the board both side (heel side and toe side) and its very close, it doesn't need to as strong as a 1m blade, so maybe fibreglass will do, easier to shape than metal

you just need to unscrew the fins to change to hydrofoil, and you can try different blade shapes at low cost

I want to do it, if anyone is interested we can work together

@ about 110 to 125 dergrees off the wind

The time is 14.00 UK & Only 2 dergrees out side

building your own board is more fun than buying one (even if it doesn't work very well), and if it's something that doesn't exist, its way better.
I don't think a twin tip hydrofoil exist
I already made a board, I want to build one again
my idea is a modification of a normal board for around 50 bucks, not 1900$, more in my budget
I think it could work for speed
