I had one and they suck. poor quality, cheaply made and for some weird reason you had to put the memory card in another camera to get your footage cause the usb plug was under the cap and the memory card would not stay in without the cap??

Kyron you may of had an old model or just a bad one, my memory card clips in the same as in a camera, you have to push it in to release it,even if you turn camera upsidedown and shake it, it will not come out. Quite a few kiters/windsurfers have them at my local beaches and none have any trouble with them. Best thing to do if you are unsure see if any of your local kite/windsurf shops stock them. But personally for the cost of this camera the picture qulity is exellent. Look on youtube.com some of the footage on there says what camera was used. Sound is not very good, you have to turn volume of computer right up and then have bionic hearing as well, but what do you want for $130 bucks. If you want pro quality spend $400-500 bucks.

Go to www.youtube.com and put atc 2k in video search and watch some of the vids on there, watch the one atc 2k affair, they strap one to a rocket, if that quality isint good enough for you then spend $500.

have one on my hangglider wingtip. works well for that, but wouldnt use it 4 anything else. snowboarding and kiting would be way too jittery. i also had to wreck the waterproof front so i could put a wide angle lense on it (another limiting factor).
