From what I have been hearing he has been out riding the 6m in stupidly strong winds and going HUGE.

The main point of the kite is that it is designed to perform in both waves and freestyle. Just change the lines and change the way the kite behaves.

The idea is that it is a promotional video for the kite showing its versatility. It is not just a new school kite, it has been design for waves, big air and hangtime too!

i rekkon it is a sick vid and after useing the Ion2 up at kitestock i think its a sick kite too.

before i flew the Ion 2 i was a bit confused by the 4-5 line thing but after flying it in both 4 and 5 line mode up at kitestock i can see the light
i dont think it will be a kite for everyone but if you cant decide if you want to go for a bow or a c or if you like to mix it up alot with a bit of flat water and a bit of waves but dont want to comprimise with your gear then i think you will love the Ion2.

Karve just told ya to turn the sound down since you were whinging about it(i would have told you to put your excessively large headphones back on), and damo just sorted you out cause you were paying out on the worlds best kiteboarder. There is the 8.5 ION2 doing the rounds in WA at the moment it is with Full tilt and West oz kitesurfing (and i think heading down to margs for a few days.) then hopefully it will be back up in Perth soon.
