Fek!!
If the young fisho dude was asian then I had a convo with him at 6.30 ish and he even helped land my kite!! He was very friendly and I have no doubt he would have moved if asked civily.
I am pretty sure the PL k-nob wasn't around at that stage but I think he preceded me on my downwinder from Flozzer.
I actually thought about mentioning the fisho’s not-so-great location but I thought – “Well he has been set up for a while now and there weren’t many kites around at all (nearly all kites had gone or continued further to Contacios etc) and to be honest there is still NO SHORTAGE of landing area 20 m south so shouldn’t be a drama”. Obviously I had underestimated the k-nob factor of selfishness and localism that is around. L is for LOSER!

I remember less than a decade ago, pretty much every arvo brighton would have a stack of fishos out trawling. They have obviously moved on due to the proliferation of kiters, but the fact remains THEY HAVE AS MUCH RIGHT TO BE THERE AS US!! The selfish little sandbox mentality of kiters out there needs to smarten up!! Pity the fisho was a nice bloke and didn’t sit the kiter right on his @rse!!

The ridiculous thing is this loser is still probably blaming the fisho for the tangle, even though Mr K-nob chose to get right up to the fishing gear in order to play the hero (in 20-25 kts) and then caused the tangle himself and had the audacity to then start a bit of shovey pushy . What an incredibly narrow minded, insular fool.

K-nobs such as this need their gear confiscated – end of problem. Truly disgraceful and no doubt will stick in the minds of all the beach punters who witnessed.

Enjoy Brighton beach while you can fellas…
BTW - lets not derail this thread with slagging off gear/style choices etc. We all in some way or form cramp the usage of other water/beach users.
