while your down there, swing by midge point, at the end of the road to laguna quays resort. turnoff is prolly 20k's past prossy. We have a family beach house down there and if the breeze is right it can be pretty good.

Pretty much follow the road down past laguna quays till u hit a t-intersection. turn left and keep going. keep on the road and you'll find the beach.

I'm a local here in AB.
Forget about Whitehaven. It's only good in the N'ly winds which start to appear slowly but are not quite there yet. Besides that, you need your own boat to get there and the crossing when there is enough wind for kiting means that it's a bit of a pounding nightmare on small boats.

As for other spots, try Conway Beach, Midge Point, both on SE or E'lies and Bowen on SE, E or N'lies. If you want give us a call when you get there for more info: tides... crocs... stingers...makes you stay on your board :-)

ahah. yeah im pretty sure thats my main focus. kiting is just secondary, im sure there a day where i won't want to be smashed all day hahah. chicks dig kiters hahah

Perhaps you can get Ian to make you a harness built for two and you can combine chicks and kiting
