I've a 2004 12m Airush Lift which I've had from new. It has developed a real bad jellyfishing issue (Wing tips flapping while flying).

Any suggests why this is happening or anyone experienced the same problem?

I've never dropped the kite hard, or left it flapping on the beach. It has not been used that regularly.

More importantly how do I stop it?

I've adjusted the lines with no success and I've inflated the leading edge pretty hard.

Thanks in advance.

I used to have a 2004 lift 12m that didn't have any jellyfishing problems but i have heard about others that did. I've been told that the problem can occur if the bladder has become slightly twisted in the leading edge. Just pour some talcum powder in between the leading edge and the bladder and shake it all the way to the tips. Its good practice to do this at least once a year as it will wash away.
Good Luck!

It certainly should not do that.

good one stoff,
now everyone will have white sauce inside their leading edge after dunking their kite in the water and when it dries it turns to plaster of paris,
you will be the most popular guy on the forum.

From the North manual, under the section "Repairing the Bladders"
-Close the valve and put the dry bladder in a plastic bag with a sufficient amount of talcum or baby powder.
-Close the bag and shake it until the talcum powder completely covers the bladder.

The powder acts as a lubricant and allows the bladder to untwist if it hasn't been installed perfectly.Eventually the original powder will wash away and the action of rolling the kite up can twist the bladder. An obvious sign of this is if the valve doesn't sit quite right in the hole. Instead of pulling the whole bladder out to recoat it, it's much easier to just open the access hole and sprinkle it in.

Greenleader, how do you fix it on you kites?

not by the manual written by people sponsored by baby powder companies in the middle of stuttgardt thats for sure.
make sure kite is really dry.
just get two guys, some beer,a new cd to play and pull the bladders back in with your kite lines slowly(2 sips per foot),replace valves close ends and shake and knead whilst inflating slowly, repeat for twists if your skill levels are low.
enter bedroom, coat girlfriend in baby powder.............
