My first downwinder.
Had a hoot.
Kept thinking the shadow of my kite was a menacing shark.

Thanks everyone who contributed.
Was an awesome spectacle to behold.
Had several impressed members of the public asking me what was going on.

Thanks to all involved in the organisation, and Kurt for the lift down.
Perfect conditions and a really good laid back day with a friendly bunch of kiters.
Now back to the brown chop of moreton bay.

And because it was so great let's do it again, I would suggest to start on the spit downwind to burleigh to take in the surfers paradise vista on the way. going further past burleigh point might be too dangerous for less experienced riders, you want to keep this nice and fun ! I'll be in any day cheers
