PhilMb actually towed you in, and i got your kite and board, wasn't the only rescue of the day though.
The reason the kite powered up was you needed to wrap up your centre lines first (at least the length of the leading edge) before wrapping all the lines around the bar.
Rookie error but a painful one.
To the other guy who required a rescue at sunset, You might be able to jump, go upwind, ride toeside and everything else, But get a lesson and learn how to self rescue. It worrying when you tell someone to deflate the leading edge so they can wrap up their kite and you can tow it in, they say "whats the leading edge?"

If mates are gonna teach mates, teach them the safety stuff before they need it.
