Used to live up there, in-fact i was the first (must have been near close anyway), kiter up there in 2002. I used to kite backbeach until a student brought in pictures of the tiger sharks caught at low tide on the end of chains, due to a tiger shark nursery existing just off the coast. -dude I used to body drag through that murky water, not a care in the world HA Ha!!. My fav spot was settlers beach (out near wickham-point samson) on a easterely, south wester was gusty but fun. Hearsons was ****. Some alright waves there at times. Have kited the islands - malice and a few others, beautiful, but a very short season - sooooo booody hot! Take care and enjoy the tiger sharks (I love it down here in perth when they all go nuts over a shark siting!-Ha Ha only everytime i went kiting!
Cheers
