Are there any alternatives to the double flow two handed pump? Any battery powered pumps out there? Call me weak or whatever, but I am sick of damn pumping. I'm half puffed by the time I hit the waves.

When kiting in Indonesia the locals take turns queing to pump up your kite!! In vietnam they have taught them to lay out the lines, attach them and pump kite! Solution kite in Asia! or buy a house on safety bay so you dont have to deflate!

Seriously though perhaps try different brand of pump, the north one and Tycoon pump seems to work better than the Naish one.

Don't be so slack it only takes a few minutes then you get wet and cool down. how long can you last on the water if you can't pump up you kite?

WWW.DKITE.COM also known as the naish electric pump they are about to bring out another that goes to 12 psi dkite that is
easy filler works with a diaphragm and gives 150 liter per minute but gives only 7 to8 PSI
the 12 psi one works like this at First it blows with high volume and low pressure for quick filling then when it senses pressure it automatically kicks into a piston mode to achieve higher pressures

Go to a camping store and buy a battery powered electric pump for blowing up air matresses, blow up dolls etc.
Pumping up the larger size kites can be a bit of hard work especially if your really keen to get out there fast, and if your lazy they are really good. It gives your more time to chat to the ladies.....

the naish electric pump is fine and 7PSI is more then enough, it actually seems like it isn't going to stop the first time you use it. the only prob is that you have to charge it with your cars ciggie lighter. but it is heavy enough to hold down your kite and pump it up while you get changed and fix lines

why walk when u can sail?

Whats wrong with an aerobic warm up before you go out.Its still easier than rigging up windsurfing gear. How many of us warm up &/or stretch before we go out (like were told to for our own good)???? Be honest!! If its too much for you mabye an armchair in front of the cricket would be more suitable!!!!

Those of us who aim high should do so fully overpowered!!!!!!!!!

get an old 1kg fire extinguisher, empty take the neck off clean out and then use die and tap to put a air valve towards the top. Put neck back on.

Fill using air compressor at servo or home compressor. Portable air under pressure.

My Brother used this method using a 9kg fire extinguisher to pump up his tyres on his go kart works a treat.
