It's a great place to kite esp' during the seabreezes and, yes, the area has more than a few kiteboarders ranging in age from about 19 to 50 something.

Check out se.kiteforum.com/spots search for Lady Bay, South Beach, Peasoup, and Kilarney, just to name a few spots. Flat water and beach breaks, nice soft sand and open space, cheap camping, are some of the thing there. Any wind with a southerly component is best.

Enjoy it, it's a great area with very nice people.

Tis indeed yours Manic.
And a word of warning for you.
If you do get invited out for apres-kite drinks beware the 'chink' [}:)]
Or be sure to have at least a 1 day recovery safety-net in place.
Dont say you werent warned

NOW NOW Puppet dont be giving out health warnings. You know we like to lull people into a false sense of security before we completely destoy them.

Tried to get a few at Phillip Island Damien McKay memorial but only ended up destroying myself. Must of been something in the water.

If you want to know more about kiteing the great South West give me a call some time on 0427 400 756.

I agree with Ian, some of kiteings best kept secrets soon to be outed.

I will probably be hunted out of Warrnambool for this. But anyway bring thick wetsuits and good drinking boots.

Hey puppet chink chink your shout buddy.

And that also givesme an idea, I'm heading OS for a month very soon, would be good to see my folks down that way before i leave. Might pop down this weekend.
