I was based in Port Hedland for a while. I never kited in Karratha, however I did kite the beaches out the back of Wickem which is just up from Karratha. In my opinion they were the best spots in the area.

I never kited in Karatha, but when was living in Point Sampson, I used to sail a Hobie 14 from the Port Walcott Yacht Club - Wickham/Point Sampson. Lots of beach ( real sand, not mud) and easy access.
