I want to get hold of the "Angelas Dish" and "Forgetting Yesterday" CD's..has anyone heard on them? They are rocky/punk.

I've heard of angelas dish.

www.fist2face.com is good for merch/cds/gear/stuff from local bands - but they don't have either of those

Angelas Dish are signed to Boomtown so should be available at any 1/2 decent independent record store.
Forgetting Yesterday ?? probably still independent. They sell discs at live shows - mostly sydney west I think. Could try the indi stores round liverpool/penrith etc.

being signed to boomtown means a band isn't independant?

wow.. think of what that menas for sounds Like chicken / Wishful Thinking...

(i guess they are on the label - but i still see them as independant)

reckon you might be right tWp. Dont know how these label cos. work but the indi styled ones like Boomtown may not 'sign' bands

maybe they just 'offer' recording &/or distribution

Might be worth checking up on sometime - just for the hell of it
