Windfinder is having some problem... The Forecast for any point North of the Airport (kuta included) will never show wind...

The 2 spot are just 300 meters from each other! But there is quite a big difference.
The problem is been reported and they are working on it.
For the moment you can look at any spot around Nusa Dua or use Windguru.

Yeah the surf is pretty good. As for the cold I wouldn't have it any other way. Good for wind and swell

Met a few of the darwin crew a few years ago when up there dodgen mobile reefs.

Nusa Dua looks as though its getting a bit of wind, might be worth a look. Any kiting spots down there?

HAAK - lived there for 40 something years - family have a house at Robe , windsurfed/surfed Long beach , Lake George ,Beachport through to Port Macdonnell . Great locations , big surf and not a person , don't mind the cold really as long as it is windy . Kicked around with the likes of Ian Ridley and John Magarey, etc .
Great times but Darwin is great too .
Crossed over to the dark side when I moved and just coming to terms with all the string .

Sorry I don't know.... Today we had 18 knots pretty much everywhere and normally Balian is a couple of knots more then the other spot.. SO probably forecast are not working for the west coast.
