Keen for a sesh tomorrow, thinking about a day trip as there might be a bit of a NE tomorrow and I'm not keen for the traffic at Sydney Central AKA Dolls...

Anyone up for a 2hr drive?

pssst, if you're sick of the traffic at dolls most of the groynes upwind are also kiteable. Also not influenced when the tide is coming in and they have flatter water too!
Don't tell anyone.

It will be a good weekend at Dolls because plenty of people have headed off for the mambo. You should have seen it this arvo - pretty empty.

I read this thread a little too late I think! If however you go on Sunday or plan to go down at any other time in the future; I'd love to share the costs and my sought after company with you for the trip. Simon, Ph: 0404367999

onepump ive kited down Jervis Bay way heaps because i was living down there. The place is very overated. there arent many places that i found to be real good.I know a few guys down there try to rev the place up but there biased because they live the and its the only place theyve got to kite.
ive kited wanda beach in the se and i recon it rates very well.save yourself a trip.ill be at wanda tomorrow. ive got a black slingy fuel.

Hey Foxy Kane,
You are right, Wanda is great in a SE, but I was planning a surf in a nor easter.. Let's compare Jervis bay to Dolls, do you still think it's a waste of time? Un-fortunately I did go to Dolls on Saturday and as expected, crowded as hell and peeps fighting for space + a sheet load of beginners body dragging the smooth transition sections (they have every right to), but made for a not so good kite spot. Tarren point reserve was the go though..

Maxim i have no disagreement with your comment thats why i was trying to share the benefits of kurnell but unfortunately i triggered an attack. still if its increased the awareness of kurnell as a great kiting spot for all to share then i can live with that.
