Will be going down Dec / Jan.
Any advice on spots and conditions (prevailing winds, strength, etc) around the
Denmark, Wilson's Inlet, Torbay, Cape Howe, Walpole, Albany area
much appreciated.

Msg me if you want to keep spots quiet.

Cheers in advance.

PS Advice on family accomodation also appreciated. Ta

huge options for various conditions due to the many bays but all need a bit of a drive to get too. SE is the most common summer wind so google earth that to check out spots. Albany=Middelton, Goode beach and PRSC (prsc needs a small fee if you get asked but well worth it saturdays are club days so best to avoid then)

Denmark = parrys beach and ocean beach but ocean beach is the main swimming beach so please respect that and move down alot.

Never kited here, but nanarup could be good for surf
in a SW, Mutton Bird island for surf and Shoal Bay (in Albanys harbour) for a (gusty) flat water session.

I reckon Ocean Beach would be great in a SE. The other spot that could be really great (shallow super flat water) is near the opening of the inlet to the ocean. It would depend on whether the inlet is open or closed and where they made the cut.
There is usually heaps of sand there for rigging & launching with easy access from the road.

As for the inlet, I think that the windsurfers head out from the boat ramp at Poddyshot Place.

Ocean and parrys beaches tend to be quite onshore. Parrys better as you can drive around the bay with less cliffs and gets more swell.
