Cabrinha CO2, 2006 is an excellent kite, with a top quality 5 line bar and punch out safety system, so you can launch hooked in with confidence.

Ride a 15m WW rapture good safe(near 100% depower) with no need for extra lines that get in the way. Stable huge range, I believe the rapture 2 is even better.

new windwing flat kites seem to have very nice range - and the guys on them seem to get some serious airtime. If your in the melb area come to kite beach as there are always a few up on a good arvo.

Was out this arvo in 28 knts on a 12m WindWing Rapture.

12 Guys started the session, only two of us remained out. Both of us on WindWings.

CC Bar provides the best benefits of the depower with the Rapture series kites.

have a look at the 2006 bars - the earlier models from what i have heard had a safety release niggle where it would sometimes stick/catch on release (however easly modded to prevent this happening). 2006 seems to have these problems fixed - nice protection from sand so this isnt a problem

I graduated from WW SAFE equipped Rage II kites, to Rapture 1s, now I have all 4 sizes of the Rapture 2s, and have about 25 days on the collective sizes, most on the 9 and 12. I'm in Baja, and it's been windy almost every day for 3 weeks. Anyway, the SAFE system on the Rage II does work, it was a good idea at the time, but it does require tuning and maintenance to keep it working properly. The Rap 1s eliminated the need for the moving parts to get near full de-power, but they did not relaunch as easily as the Rage II in board-off situations. Now flying the Rapture 2s, and it is the best of all worlds. Incredible range, easy relaunch, near-full de-power. I had the 9m out in 35kt gusts yesterday, no problem with control, and I am NOT a really good or experienced kiter. Normally just a weekend punter like most of us.
The hardest thing about flying a WW is actually getting your hands on one -- limited production currently. Gabor is the man in Australia.
Caveat: I am slightly biased as I used to work for WW, but I do not work for them currently -- I just love the kites. Someone emailed me to comment on this thread, so I am doing so by request.
