Hey!

Heading over to Europe for summer to hit up the beaches of France, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, but planning on making a stop somewhere in Asia first to hopefully get some wind and top up the tan. Ideally looking for somewhere not too expensive, not ridiculously touristy would be nice. Planning to leave around the 12th of June. I realise the timing isnt the best in terms of finding quality consistent wind in Asia. Possibilities so far are Boracay, Borneo, Phuket, Mui Ne. Have already spent time in Thailand so would prefer somewhere new. Anyone got any ideas/stories/reccomedations...?

Cheers!

Re: Boracay; the wind this time of year is less consistent and comes from the southwest. It's pretty much on or off but when it's on (usually when a typhoon passes through the archipelago), it's on in a proper way. The nice thing about Boracay is that there's heaps to do when there's no wind. Other spots to consider this time of year are Subic Bay and Lake Caliraya (300m elev., flatwater). Both are a few hours' drive from Manila.
