A special shout out to all the guys who helped me today after i dislocated my shoulder in the water after landing quite hard today. Thanks to Chucky, Kenny, Cole, Greame, Jonezy, Brandan, and all the other guys who rescued my kite and packed all my gear away. Anyway i am out of hospital with shoulder put back in but quite high on morphine and other drugs they gave me. Got 3 days of rest to do nothing but watch you guys kite this week until i am better. Bastards... :)

Thanks

Nick

HOPE YOU FEEL GOOD NICK :)

Hey Nick

having Dislocated both shoulders my advice is don't push it. I pushed the right shoulder and am looking at surgery in the next couple of years and the only reason i'm not there right now is that i'm going to the gym and beefing up the muscles. Go to the Physio get a gym membership and get the shoulder healthy. In all honesty your looking at a minimum of three weeks (which sucks cause i saw you riding a new kite). If the quack says sonner then by all means but rushing it will lead to problems case and point right here. Oh and sorry if I cut you off the other day was stuck between a couple of kites and was trying to get out of there.

When I did my left shoulder in San Fran they pumped as much morphine in me as they were leagally allowed too (and then charged me for every penny bastards talk about ruining a good trip).

Hope you feel better soon and the shoulder stops throbing. Oh and strap that chicken wing in as hard as possible and up a little in the elbow so your arms not hanging from your shoulder.

The boys at "Bay Watch" have been well trained. It brings a tear to my eye, they make me so proud, all those years of training. Watch out Bondi Rescue, Bay Watch will return.
Glad you are o.k. Nick.

Thanks for the comments, yeah I was trying trying hard with the new kite before all the winter weather starts. I hate winter. I hate watching everyone kite when I cannot. I will get the shoulder reconstructed over winter which of course my company will pay for so I am ready for a big summer at the end of the year. My company want me to take more time off but I am getting bored already.

Hey Crazy Canuk, dont worry about cutting me off as I am used to it now with all the beginners that are now at Dolls i usually try to go around most people except those who decide they have 360 degrees of the airspace and I cannot get around them. I also got pumped the maximum morphine but it had no effect on me. I hate to see what they did while i was knocked out in surgery to get my arm back in.

Yes it was great to see everyone rush to my aid like little ants to help me when i was coming in with the kite dragging in the water. I thank everyone. the Dolls Point "Baywatch have indeed been trained well.

They Gave you option Number 2 to set the shoulder back in. I took option one so I didn't have to spend the night in a US Hospital. They did give me other drugs then the Morphin though, but man did my head hurt in the morning. Good to hear you've got insurance to cover the surgery.
