I borrowed a 10 for an afternoon a couple of weeks ago. I have flown a few different sizes in both 06 and 07 Waroos and the 07 Waroo pro. Initial impression was that the Bularoo was even more stable in the air and I really enjoyed using it. Others that I know who have tried it at our local spot also were positive. Build quality looks really good, reinforced everywhere. I would probably purchase one over a Waroo, but hey... wouldn't trade my Rebels for one PS. saw someone boost HUMONGOUS jumps with it last Sunday.

Hey KDA,

They look similar to a Waroo but a bit lower aspect, making them sit a little further back in the window I'm guessing. Probably where the added stability comes from.

Haven't flown one or done a close comparison against a Waroo, just first impressions from an interested bystander.

Good winds,

Actually i think they are more because they have more reinforcement and one pump.

thanxs all,

i have been looking closely at the BEST kites after a kiteboarding weekend. I currently have a 13m ozone instinct, it was fairly light wind (close to F@#$ all) and the ozone was just a cow, constantly stalling. instructor put me on a 9m 07 model waroo and it was a complete diffrent kite i got from body draging to up on the board in no time.

i was looking for a 9m waroo but what other BEST kites could i look for that are similar and well not to costly? or should i stick with the waroo?

Somethings wrong there man, if you could get going on a 9m Waroo but not a 13m Ozone Instinct!
All i can think of is that you were sheeting out the Instinct. They are designed to "stall" with the bar all the way out. The 9m Instinct is the sweetest thing I've flown yet.
Remember, they're not called Best because they are.

Check out thekiteboarder.com
There is an audio interview with the guy who designs Best kites. He talks about the Bullaroo and compares it to all the other kites in their range.
They are built stronger (apparently), than other kites for thrashings in the surf, and they have protective bits everywhere for snowboarding or rocky/shelly beaches. He recons it only adds about 300g extra weight...
