Hi All,
Please check out the rules and the map outlining the area of the big air comp tomorrow waksa.org.au.86.aspwebhosting.com.au/Events_view.aspx?Eventid=5
Please also refresh yourself with the Safe Kiting Guidelines and Right of Way Rules on the waksa website http://waksa.org.au.86.aspwebhosting.com.au/info.aspx
Remember it is North Scarborough Beach, down the path from the toilet/shower block.
If anyone has a free hour before registration from 12-1 please come down and give us a hand setting up the tents, cordoning, BBQ etc. We're only 4 people.
For the day to run we also need an 4 extra people to assist; we still need someone to do the flags, someone to write down times, someone to act as go-between between the timers and the info board, and someone to cook the BBQ.
Thanks heaps, see you there,
Jess

Bit early asking yesterday BUT today I can tell U it went FANTASTIC.
Im sure there will be lots said here on the forum but to sneak one in b4 the official results are posted I'd like to say it was an unbelievable day.
Solid Freo Dr. Breeze came in right on time & stayed all day.
Right through all heats (for 41 entrants!!) & on into a set of finals & then on to a nail-biting knockout decider
HOW GOOD CAN IT GET
PERTH GOOD & WAKSA GOOD - thats how good it can get.
There just aint anything better !
U just gotta luv it

Had a magic day at the Big Air...you guys and gals are great. Great to see Puppet back and all the other boosters, Jess, Graeme Dale, Alex, Mike, and of course Veeebs. What a selfless group, thanks again.

The comp was great, excellent conditions and big air had by all.

Did anyone see the channel 7 news tonight? The helicoptor was there when you know who was going BIG.

Will aim to get a full list of times posted by this evening, just got to sit down and work through all the sheets of paper and I'll have it up!
Yes, it did come off well, things usually do when the wind-Gods decide they want to see some boosting action too and come to the party :)

What a great event... bombed out myself with too much power! LOL... Anyway had fun! Very well organised and thanks to the WAKSA crew who put in the hard yards to make it happen.

Just for your info... the Channel 7 chopper was taking digital still photos only, and was something my wife (Ivana, the pilot), managed to organise along with the photographer Ray. This was kind of a bonus so please don't ring the station for footage! I will send WAKSA a copy of the CD to post photos, when I get a copy.
Hopefully we can view some of the other photos taken from the ground too?

James
