Playing around with some 5th line setups on a customised bar & line set. With the 5th line run thru the chicken loop & using spinning swivel for the front lines, the 5th wants to twist around the chicken loop and/or front lines....

Any way around this?

Tried alternative approach of non-spinning front lines and 5th line not thru chicken but just leashed at a ring...when spinning this is gonna make the leash twist around the bar.

Simplest but least safe option is to de-clip the safety and clip onto the back line and then reattach when required....this isnt very safe for other riders....

Thoughts?

the 5th line goes through the bar onto the chicken loop on the swivel, the front lines are attatched above the swivel ie they dont twist when you twist the swivel, this allows you to untwist the 5th line , you got the new gk bows yet dude :) ?

Thanks chop-chop. I should have been more descriptive - I am using a slingshot swivel that attaches above the depower strap...I think what you are referring to is a swivel on the harness side of the chicken loop....that would mean spending $$$...

Flew with it today & it works OK unclipped...I'll probably stay that way for a while so I can suss it out.

Another option would be to get a Peter Lynn spinning swivelling set-of-steak-knives spreader bar - which in effect is the equivalent of a harness side c-loop swivel.
