Must have been something you ate ?
I have sailed both the ocean and river for 7 years and have NEVER had any trouble what-so-ever.
Besides, your there to surf, NOT drink the water

sounds like it could be something to do with all them fish dying. Maybe not to kite in the river anymore. Sides bump and jump is where its at. Don't forget your wipes.

Captain we kite Botany Bay in Sydney not the cleanest place to kite.
After a session you can get out of the water smelling like a petrol refinery as we have the airport on one side and a refinery on the other. The water is that dirty you can never see the bottom probably a good thing, but in saying that never been sick from kiting in the Bay if anything its probably boosted the immune system as I rarely get sick anymore since I started kiting in the bay.

I would have thought all the dioxin build up in your system would kill off any "oral" infested parasites anyhow if swimming in the Sydney waterways!

Jokes aside, Captain - you might have a delayed reaction to the normally harmless jellyfish in the swan dude!

i was pumping up whilst a news crew was behind me filming 4 a story on polutants in the river and the health risks of swiming there. often get a sore throught after spending a lot of time in the river though-the water is seawater of late anyway with the lack of rain we have had yet ofcourse u would have bn going after rain when its advised you dont
SO DO NOT GO TO PELI POINT OK, ITS POISONOUS that should cut it down to numbers below 25

saltwater cures all ills.

all other symptoms are a result of your festering lifestyles.

dont blame it on the water, dont blame it on the.......etc.
