The only official Kite Surfing Competition in Indonesia put on by Blue Oasis Dive, Stiff Chilli Restaurant and Rip Curl School of Surf in conjunction with PORLASI, will be held on Friday 10th,Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th of July at the Rip Curl School of Surf located at the Sanur Beach hotel Bali, starting both days at 9am. 30+ local and foreign kite surfers will compete against each other for prizes from Rip Curl, Cabrinha kites, AJ Hackett bungy, Gath, Coco Cola and Para valuing over $5,000us. The comp was a lot of fun last year and very "low-key" so don't be too shy to join in! If not then maybe you could offer your services to Mario as a judge or scoring assistant as these are usually hard to find!!
