going to Bali next week, trying to work out the cross / onshore wind direction ,any clues ?, its forecast 15-18 knots with easterly's would appreciate any assistance

you have 2 choices = if your ride a twin tip and arent into the surf then go to Sanur- on shore winds here
Sanur beach hotel has an area to ride from
If its light you can get a boat up wind for a fee
there are lots of beginners there so look out for your self
there is surf out on the edge of the lagoon

If you want waves then go to Cangu - there are a few breaks to ride there - wind is sideshore to side off - it is gusty and can drop out quickly after 4 pm
if you arent into surf probably give this place a miss

also there are euro kiter everywhere - dont expect them to be as friendly as your fellow aussie kiters

hi Brucex way do you think eurokiter in bali are not friendly?they must have been from FRANCE!

my experience also. not sure why, maybe the crowds over there??? dunno, but noticable...
