Yes you can, but obviously the IDS wont work. My mrs uses her IDS bar on her 6m Switchy 3.

Yes you can but as Paul1 says the IDS system will not work, whats wrong with the SB3 bar, we have all the parts you would need to refurbish any part of it?

Yes you can use the SB3 bar on an IDS kite, BUT the IDS system will not work, and there would be no way to flag the kite safely to one front line, only a rear line.

Thats the thing, the bridles are not the same, not even similar actually, other than they are made of similar cord.

An IDS bar and lines can be used to fly an SB3, BUT the IDS system on the bar will not properly depower an SB3 kite, an SB3 kite must be depowered using one front or rear line. The IDS system, uses a special bridle configuration on the IDS kites, to depower the kite using BOTH front lines.
SB3 kites will not fully depower using both front lines, understand?
