Is a 43cm bar to short to use on a 16m kite and 12m kite, with 20m lines?

Thanks

Hey

I would say yes for the 16 but it depends on what the kite is also

If's it's a quick turning kite then no probs else you will turn very

s l o w l y

the 20m lines will help though to counteract the length of bar

Hurrah is right IMO .
I use a 58cm bar on my 14m co2 2004 and i would say that it is not the fastest kite to begin with so by reduceing the bar you will only slow it down more. Try and get a good second hand bar to fit the kite , CAB bars are very cheap for some reason . There was some in the forsales for around $100 -$150 or you could buy a RECON GEN2 i think they have just dropped the price of them .

i use a big bar, just slightly smaller than a standard airrush bar for a 20m kite. It makes life so easy and that extra lever action is really sweet. Unless your doing handle passes i reakon the bigger the bar the better

the way you used to messure bar width on push bikes(road bikes) was the bar should be the same width as your shoulders.this is how im set up on 28 mtr lines. hope this helps.ive got a 10,14.2 & 17.4 globerider kites & use the same bar & lines.
