My brother and I are going down to Barwon Heads on tuesday for a weeks work, looks a great spot for kiting, so were gonna chuck our gear on the plane with us.
Anyone kite there?
Any info would be sweet

Barwon Heads only really works for southerly's. South Easterlies are the best. Anything westerly to south westly and you can move onto 13th beach. Anything from the north and you can move onto Pt henry.

Long range forecast for Tuesday looks like 13th Beach (if you like waves). If flat water is your thing then Pt Henry.
Barwon is sweeeeet though, if you get the chance rig up at RAAF's beach.

Sweet, well i hope there is gonna be wind. Do many kiters get out down there? So we got something to look for, dangers etc

13th can be a bit empty and there are rocks to watch out for on the far East of the beach but its doable (depending upon your skill level).
Henry is fine as is RAAF's.
