Hi all,

Headed up north end April (25th to 29th) to kitesurf as we don't get wind down in Sydney... any recommendation for flat water, beginner friendly spots?

Should I fly into Sunshine coast (Noosa) or Brisbane?

Thanks.

Sunshine Coast... Lake Weyba or Boreen Point for learning. DONT GO TO RIVERMOUTHS IF YOU ARE ONLY AT BODY DRAGGING LEVEL! It is sooo packed already and 1 body dragger takes about 10 kitesurfing spots.

I recommend a bigger kite and staying in Sydney

fly to cairns
there are wide beaches good wind warm water and 3 good kite schools

plus its not crowded

and the cairns locals are realy friendly as wellas that there are ususally a couple of topless german backpackers who offer to carry your gear to and from the beach and pump your kites
