Hi everyone,

I moved to Sydney 3 years ago and I don't know the country and surroundings very well, so I am looking for advice for my next holidays.

If you were to name a list of places, in order of priority, a Wave rider must go, where would you go?
If you can provide a quick description on why the place is god, it would be great.

In addition, I am traveling with my wife, which is a non-kite and no kids.

http://www.nswkba.com.au/locations has most flatwater and wave locations up and down the coast.

Also, get hold of a surfing locations book from an library or bookstore to find new spots. There are plenty of them

I realise the sarcasm in your post, but a lot of people would be surprised at the quality and quantity of wave locations in the sydney region for those in the know. Some of them almost always uncrowded.

thats right. get a surfers atlas book, a map and look at the common wind directions.

Or be really friendly to the good wave kiters you see

... sarcasm 'ey ,,,,, hard to do when we are the "sh!t wind capital of Australia"!!

Mind you, we get cheap flights to some of the best waves around ,,, couple of hours on a plane and we're there!
