Hello,
Im currently looking for a new harness for kitesurfing, I have a pro limit seat harness at the mo which was good for learning but is a bit restricting.

Mainly do freeriding and getting into freestyle and wake style now on Cabrinha Chaos's.

Whats some good harness's you have used and some to stay away from.
Im 70kg and looking for something that wont ride up at all and will give me some back support too.

Thanks

Best harness is one that fits you properly. Don't skimp on this one mate - go to a shop where they fit you into a few, put you under load and let you get a feel for each one. You might even walk out liking the cheaper one better.

check out ENGINE harness online. custom molded to your back, small, comfortable and does not move. it is a one man operation so it may take a couple of weeks to get it but worth it. best harness i have ever ridden. although i do use a rope slider instead of a bar for waves with it.

If you are into Free and wake style you should not even be talking about a seat harness. If someone has a waist harness that NEVER rides up that is very hard to believe, as when you wipe out heavy, especially in the surf and messing up unhooked tricks your harness is always gonna ride up. Just go and try on a few waist harnesses and go with the comfiest one.

In the end I tried out about 5 harnesses and the Dakine Pyro fit me the best of the bunch. Used it today it was great, just hope it moulds to my back soon =]
