Im up on the central coast this weekend and was wondering what the best spot is for a southely on the lake system. Am looking for flat water. Had a cracker session at Chittaway a couple of weeks ago but that needs a bit of east in it right? Had a look at canton but that looks like it needs some west? Anywhere good in a straight southely? What about Umina? Any suggestions? Cheers

hey scoop. I'm visiting the central coast at the moment as well. Have never kited here though. I don't mind a lil surf but way too big for me at the moment.
I went and checked out a cpl places mentioned on the NSWKBA website yesterday. Myuna bay and Wangi Wangi looked alright. (Western shore of lake macqaurie) I always like to go out with someone else. Are you keen this arvo or tom?? Or anyone else keen afterwork on week days???? Tooroom bay is a cracker of a spot but dunno if it works on a southerly.

The central coast is the worst place to kite in australia. Dont waste your time! sydney is way better

If u do ride at Umina for F@%k's sake, stay away from the flags and quit ridin in front of the launch/landing area. Tools! And while your at it keep left unless overtaking when your driving back on the F3.
