Hello I just purchased a board and kite from nsw and it is my responsibility to organize the pickup from his place. What price am I looking at and who is rge best? Also insurance????

My own experience is these are both pretty expensive. If you get a few quotes from smaller local couriers you can usually get a much better price. Call up or email the local guy directly.

Surely you can cod the postage, or get the dude to pay and you pay him

I've sent a couple of kites to wa, was about thirty bucks each, sent a board to sa was about the same

Look up e-go couriers. Best (by faarrrrrrrr!), cheapest and very quick. Depot to depot and save 50%. Jump on their website and get an online quote.

A lot of kites go missing in Aus post every year, I think there are some postal kitesurfers working there. I know of a brand that lost all 6 kites sent Aus post. So only send registered and insured.

Registered post is good, but takes 5 to 7 days to get to WA from NSW

Platinum Registered takes 2-3 days but is expensive

Fastway.com.au is good 5 to 7 days
