First up, a massive thanks to whoever handed in my best bar and lines to kitepower after i left them at Dolls last Tuesday. Its great to know that there are still decent people around. I owe you one (case)!
I was also wondering what size board would be good as a seccond board? I've got a 148 and riding in choppy conditions and trying to learn to turn is a bit tricky. I weigh about 75kgs. how small is to small?

I would say anything below 130 would be too small if you are in the process of learning. For your weight would go for 132-136 as a second board option depending what riding style you want to focus.

Not sure what kite size and wind strength you are dealing with but 148 sounds fine. Unless it is a pre 2004 board in which case it may be pretty narrow (30-ish cm) and not flash at planing early.

148 x 37-40cm and not too severe rocker will get 75kgs going pretty well.
