Yes I have done a search, but thought it might be easier to post the question (again) rather than trawl through 6 pages of posts!!!

Have a 5cm tear from bladder popping.

Tried to fix with glue and bladder provided in Naish repair kite. However, as soon as glue hit the bladder and patch curled up which created a very ordinary job! On testing the patch leaked. I then repeated the process with a second patch over the top which also leakes.

Help!

1) any suggestions on where to get more glue (in previous posts bike tyre puncture repair/air mattress glue suggested)
2) any thoughts on putting a third patch over my already crap repair job versus cutting out my mess and putting a patch over the resultant hole
3) how do you stop the bladder and patch from curling so you can get a nice clean repair?

(Want it fixed by weekend so no point replying with recommended repairers)

If money was no object would get a new one.
Should be no worries to repair - would help to have 8 fingers rather than 10 thumbs! (And glue that didn't curl up the bladder patch)

Any by the way, hole not in vicinity of valvs, seams, etc

you could take your kite to sos, and try and sweet talk andy into trying to repair it on the spot for ya

they have a crimping tool that will do exactly the sort of thing you need.

to be honest though, your pushing sh1t uphill, you'll need a new bladder sooner or later
