You should be able to pick up some bladder repair patches from your local kite shop. Generally it's just a matter of removing the bladder, dunking it under water and then marking where the hole is, scuffing the area with the hole with a little bit of sandpaper, cleaning it with some isopropyl alcohol (no vodka won't do)... then making sure the bladder is on a flat surface and applying the sticky patch.

I've done plenty of them that way and they've all held fine.

Have a leak near the trailing edge on one of the struts.

wondering what people are using for simple repairs on bladders.

generaly get the pros to handle anything significant but think this one should be ok to do myself.

If there is sand or salt crystals in the bladder remove them - inflate bladder with the bladder out of the kite for best results (LE or a strut), then shake the salt and sand towards the valve/one pump connector and release the air the sand and salt should blow out. If there is wet salt and sand in there put a bit of water in the bladder, just a cupful in a strut bladder about 2-3 cups in a LE, then inflate shake water and sand to the valve then release it - voila!! - clean bladder!
