Wonder if anyone can give advice.
I am fairly new to the sport and use a beginners board, which is pretty hard to hold edge. Which board would I go for. I am 90KG and 6ft. Would a slingshot sx 139*40 be good or should I try underground or something like that. Any advice really appreciated

Hey Scottyboy,
Go for the Airush Switch 142, Sick board for your weight and performance for years to come.
Drop into Airborne Kitesurfing at Howe Street Ozzie Park, they have demo boards for you to ride .... lots of em and all different. Make your mind up from performance, not pretty colours or marketing.
Anyone who buys a board without riding it first is gambling and taking pot luck. What is sic for one rider is a lemon for the next, so even if your mate loves it, it doesnt mean it will work for you. However, most people who buy a lemon after having bought prior to testing will tell you it rips, even if it sucks cause they dont want to appear a bit silly after having parted with the hard earned.
Check em out!

Mate wait for the new FLX's. They should be at SOS mid april or so and they'll be sik. RRP $995.00. Last year they had a 142 which would be good 4 you, (check out the website) but the range is expanding and I think they have a 140 or 138 so that would be even better. Talk to John Geyer at SOS in Freo and he'll give you the goss.
Ask anyone who's ridden them, these boards are the greatest!

The Best boards (Balsa & Drive) are fully sick. To try one contact Brownee (HungLong)
