good work dave, i rescued a board on sundy, i hope it wasn't the same guy. He couldn't loose the board twice. It wasn't a underground 152. I still think i am owed a few beers
Yeah that guy owes you beer, I told him the standard fee is a case of premium beer, but I think he was still a bit shellshocked and embarrassed. Say hello next time you see him and remind him that you saved his brand new board.
Marty, it was ridiculously gusty on Sunday, thats why hardly anyone went out, it was averaging around 20 knts then big bullets would cycle through in the 35 knots + range, top gust was 48 knots, way too much for a any kite, even the windsurfers gave up! The guy who lost his board made a bad error of judgement to go out and had a great learning experience, he lost his kite for a while too!
Yes, the standard fee is a case of premium beer.....problem being....KP handling TAX, similar to GST, however it seems to be roughly 45.8%...so you only end up with 13 beers from the dozen...... Oh well....better than a rough stick shoved up your @#$ !!
The KP Consumption tax is only applied to cases of beer that sit around in the shop teasing us for too long. First we put some in the fridge to keep them more comfortable, then they start winking at us when we open the fridge how can we help it? Have mercy guys!
