Just a warning to kiters and anyone else planning to use Botany Bay this weekend - DON'T. As a result of a power failure Sydney Water discharged raw sewage into Botany Bay for 3 or 4 hours - backup power didn't work properly either. Brilliant timing given we might get a good breeze tomorrow. Well done Sydney Water!!!

I always thought kiting in Sydney might be crap.

Kited for a little yesterday... Wasn't any worse than normal.. Didn't see any logs which was positive..
