A mate who races 16ft skiffs has warned me that the Georges River 16ft Club are running 2 races for the State Titles this weekend 26th and 27th. These races are often set in the river mouth between Towra, Dolls and the outer Navigation pylons to the North of the River mouth, with the finish being near the sailing club.

Thats how they usually set a course in a Northerly/NE wind. Not sure about Southerly wind courses??

Its been a while since i sailed there.. but from memory all the southerlies courses send the skiffs up towards Woollooware Bay so they get a spinaker run backtowards the club at the finish......
