Ok so i love the 11m, but trying to decide which small edge II would suit my weight and wind conditions. Anyone who has experience with the new ozone edge's, gimme some advice.

i'm 65kg
125 x 36 twintip (small!)

the 11m gets me going in 10 knots, i have held onto it in 22-23 knots as well, but was starting to feel the need for a slightly smaller kite at that wind strength. I'm worried that if i get a 7, there will be too much of a gap between it and the 11, but the 9m might still be overpowering me if it's up near 25-30 knots. whaddaya reckon?

definantly go the 7m . you will get going on that in 19-20 knots if you can get going in 10 knots on your 11m and you will have to get off the 7m in 35knots. the 11 and 9 would be to close.

Sweet, thanks for the help guys, seems fairly unanimous. the 11 has a heap of range for me, i like riding really powered so i can hold onto it in nearly 25 knots, so the 7 should take me up all the way to 30-35 knots i'd think.

nup the sport is for pansies who can't afford oxygen tanks when the edge sends you into orbit

high aspect is where it's AT - i'm not into waveriding much so don't need the faster turning and "gruntier" feel of a low-aspect wavekite

i'll be looking into the 7m then, i must admit 2 weeks ago nothing would have switched me from the 07/08 sonics but once i wrapped my head around the new edge II i've sort of fallen in love again - it's one of those kites you need to get dialled in for a few hours before you fully understand just how good it is
