Great kite crowds a Melville these days. Lots of new faces and everyone really helping each other out with landing and launching, doing little rescues and getting the local knowledge through word of mouth. Good crowd, polite and experienced mostly.

Almost everyone is jibing (turning) outside the white markers and the learners are drifting south.

As the wind picks up and stays gusty, Melville can be tricky and dangerous...let us keep the kites in the water and leave the people and trees alone.

PS Your helmet ain't going to save you if you hit a tree or get run over by a car.
