Autumn and winter are a long way off, plenty of windy days to come. And no autumn/ winter are pretty sad in these parts but a few months to go till we need to worry about that.

Yeh there's a windy season , just not the last couple of summers ,last year was real bad for wind and this year only slightly better . The la Nina pattern kills the sea breezes we usually get , se winds are very hit and miss this time of year also ,

Best seasons were a few years ago when we were in drought , heaps of afternoon sea breezes.

Dry and hot= good sea breeze.

why dont you ask for advice on condtions from..

Kitepower Rhys
Surf Connect Padi
Briskites Jason

All 3 have schools there so they should be able to let you know if it's going to be **e or not and when.

Between the 3 of them you would think that you might get the correct answer.

Thas bout right. generally October November and patchy December January as it become more humid. Yeah the last coule of years you need to be Johnny on the spot. Had some southeast / northeast pearlers in the middle of August. Now that doesn't happen normally!

We've had wind almost everyday for weeks now up on the sunshine coast. Ok not the usual northerlies, but still decent enough for the rivermouths or downwinders. MUCH better than last summer.
