Is there some set rules on the collection and use of browny points?

Is there really a use by date? or is my wife trying to put one over on me?

Can we claim a reimbursment of browny points used to go sailing when there's no wind.?

What are the best ways of getting browny points quickly and painlessly?

I need a book on what browny points are available for what actions and how many are needed for a days sailing.

switch your brownie point plan over to a new issuer, they sometimes have bonuses to encourage you to switch.

I am on the plan where I issue my own Browny points. They're a lot easier to get. This issuer doesn't provide the benfits the one of the last plan did though.

Hahaha
Brownie points are all in our minds.

You cut short,or even (shudder) miss a session, and when questioned by your mates you use the Browny points as an excuse.

News Flash !!! Women DO NOT give credit for Browny points !

In fact,if you miss a sess to go shopping, they will expect that all the time!

History of the Term "Brownie" Points

They were originally kn known as "Brownie" (or Browneee) points and is a term that originally came out of China. So in 2003 you might have said:

"The wind was real kn sh!t today so I scored some real brownie points by mowing the lawn"

About 2-3 years ago they kn best became became known as "Hunglong" points, and more recently, kn "Kiterpilot" points. Hence today:

"The wind was real kn sh!t today so I scored some real kiterpilot points by mowing the lawn"

(Yes, I am at work and I am kn bored!!!)

Move to a place where the winds blows (howls) consistently, lets say hypothetically Denham WA. When your loved one gives you the itinery of where you have to be and what you have to do for the week, month, you can plan you kiting around that.
If I finish work at 5 and are due or dinner at 7.30 that means I can have a good 2 hour fang belt home shower and be there on time with a smile on my dial.
Remember when you used to play team sports and training was at a certain time and the game was on Saturday, then consistent wind provides the same thing.
No more stressing about getting a kite in and pissing off all those who don't share the same stoke as we do. All you have to do is move to a place like Denham and the problem is solved.
Hope this helps

the brownie points system is a scam designed by manipulative women to control weak-hearted men.

The only way to make this horrible situation work is to get your wife/partner into kiting - which we all know is more addictive than crack - and she'll be begging you to take her as well.

This may mean an investment of many hours teaching and riding in 10kts at a select location (they can be very fussy, remember...can't ride at the "stinky" beach, or the beach with the big waves, or the lake with the funny sand,or the river that "just isn't pretty" etc, etc ) but soon she'll be hooked as well and the days of mowing lawns and going shopping when it's 20+ are over. Plus you just have to buy a whole new quiver of kites to share, because you only want the best for your girl...

now...i gotta go and clean the dunny and finish cooking dinner...

Beware the "get your partner into kiting" Browny point method.

they invariably "Don't do rigging" so you end up with double the setup and packup time without any extra time before and after.

plus after 20mins they decide it's just not quite the perfect conditions and stop. Then stand there watching you, to make sure you can see them being bored and waiting to go.
This exponentially increases the outflow of Browny points.

About two years ago I would only go kiting under pain of death - "It's too hard, and I'm scared and its too windy and my wetsuit is all wet and what about the waves and the lines are all messed up and IS THAT A SHARK? boo hoo *sob*" etc etc etc...

He rolled his eyes so many times I thought they would roll clean out of his head. But then I figured out how to go ride along in BOTH DIRECTIONS. And now we find ourselves in the unusual situation where I go kiting about twice as much as he does. Now the opportunity for major brownee points happens all the time! Like when i knocked myself silly on the bottom at Alva beach and he came and fetched me, or when he rescued my board when it disappeared out to sea the other day. And he has to stay with me forever cos I own the boards.
